L'amour est un verbe
This is where we come face to face with a dangerous reality. We do have to give up everything to follow Jesus. We do have to love Him in a way that makes our closest relationships in this world look like hate. And it is entirely possible that He will tell us to sell everything we have and give it to the poor… . We rationalize these passages away… And this is where we need to pause. Because we are starting to redefine Christianity… We are molding Jesus into our image. He is beginning to look a lot like us… And the danger now is that when we gather in our church buildings to sing and lift up our hands in worship, we may not actually be worshiping the Jesus of the Bible. Instead we may be worshiping ourselves.

I am no longer restricted by the limitations of my own strength & wisdom. By His grace I have new identity & new potential.

God You are here with us, constantly here with us!

We are told to let our light shine, and if it does, we won’t need to tell anybody it does. Lighthouses don’t fire cannons to call attention to their shining- they just shine.
Dwight L. Moody

The devil’s dealin’ dirty, in broken hearts and counterfit currency…

The reality is…

As children of God, we tend to worship Jesus Christ because of all the stuff he has done/given to us. When in reality, we should worship and be in total awe of Him, simply just because of who He is.

We ought not to grow tired of doing little things for the love of God, who regards not the greatness of the work, but the love with which it is performed.
